What's the buzz about?
This my first blog and we all know that social is a way to connect with everyone around you most likely family and friends but you always have to watch out for what you post on there because not everything you post is meant for the public to see. I use Facebook the most out of all the other media because to me its more entertaining then the rest. I am usually on it 7 times a week and about 6-7hrs a day where people like to call it being on it 24/7. It has videos, memes, photos memorizes etc. all in one page where you scroll through and forget that the world is there. It's addicting right ?
yeah social media is very addicting. I love how versatile Facebook is as well. It can be use to keep up with friends and family, but also with work an businesses.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your first blog post! It happens to include one of my favorite topics technological addiction. This problem seems to be almost laughable to some, but not if you are a loved one is caught up in the middle of it; Furthermore, there have been studies done that suggest the overuse of technology can have huge ramifications on one's mental health, particularly children and teenagers.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Kadija,
ReplyDeleteI have found myself run into the same problem every day. The urge to open my phone up, and log on to an app to see other people lives. I recommend getting up excercising and eating food every day before you check your phone. Just get into a routine that does not involve your phone as the first thing when you wake up. I also believe that setting a timer on your phone that monitors a certain amount of time you are allowed to use the app each day. This will help you with your short term and long term goals in life.
Social media is addicting for sure. i just found myself on the deep dark Youtube spiral. Watching video after video without an end in sight. I enjoyed reading your post and seeing some light shed on social media.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree social media is very addicting. We can check our social media accounts and not realize how much time we are actually spending on each platform.
ReplyDeleteI agree that social media is very addicting, and can lead to disconnection with reality. Great first post, I can't wait to keep reading more!
ReplyDeleteYou could consider social media a type of addicting drug. But with the right restraint we can minimize they time we spend on it.
